The theater history in the German-Polish-Czech country triangle reaches back up to the middle of the 19th century. At that time, it was still completely dominated by the German-speaking theater. After the war and the new division of Central Europe a new time starts for these culture area of Silesia, north Bohemia and the Lausitz. The three municipal theaters in Görliz, Liberec and Jelenia Gora have practiced an active exchange of ideas for years.
