Since the assumption of power by the PiS party in Poland in 2015, a cultural revolution seems to have taken place in our neighbouring country. The ruling forces propagate a cultural narrowing, a nationalist-conservative demarcation to the multicultural west of Europe.
Western liberal liberal Polish cultural scene is a particular thorn in the side of the PiS rulers. Especially througheconomic censorship and the dismissal of politically uncomfortable artists or cultural managers, the government is trying to prevent a living and open art and to impose a new national-conservative culture in the country.
